At Lions Camp Koala, located in the beautiful coastal town of Anglesea, Victoria, teens with Type 1 diabetes aged 15-18 get to experience 4 days of unforgettable experiences with fellow Type1 campers.

Camp Koala is an opportunity to grow, build confidence, and make lasting memories—all while being surrounded by others who really understand what life with Type 1 is really like. Many of the teens even create lasting friendships.

Camp Koala is packed with outdoor adventures, DJ dance parties and awesome food. Teens will be challenged, develop new skills, make friends and memories that will last a lifetime.

There is also medical staff present to support teens with their T1D management while away. Our goal is to create an environment where teens feel empowered to take charge of their type 1 diabetes while still enjoying all that camp has to offer.
