Type1 Legend - Anika
Anika Thoren has been an absolute legend for my son since his diagnosis.
We didn’t know her beforehand, but as the type 1 community tends to do, she heard of our plight and reached out.
Since then she has been a never ending source of support for our family, and an inspiration for my 13 year old son who has watched Anika drive fast cars and motorbikes, travel extensively overseas, and still find time to advocate and raise money for Type 1 Diabetes awareness!
